Backing up your CMS is vital to prevent data loss. Most CMS platforms offer built-in backup tools or plugins that automate this process.
If you prefer a manual approach, follow these steps:
- Access your web hosting control panel.
- Download your website files via FTP.
- Export your database using phpMyAdmin.
Regular backups ensure you can restore your site in case of issues.
To add images to your CMS, navigate to the media library in your admin panel. From there, you can upload new images or select existing ones. Once uploaded, you can insert images into your posts or pages using the editor.
Ensure your images are optimized for web use to improve loading times. Use descriptive file names and alt text for accessibility and SEO benefits.
